Azalea – Remembering Cee —#1Day4Cee

In memory of Cee, whose encouragement gave me the confidence to post and share my very amateur photos each week for her #FOTD Challenge. Sharing an Azalea I photographed in a local store’s flower department.

Azalea (“Aiko Intense Rose”) —#1Day4Cee

Thank you to the hosts of One Day/ One Photo #1Day4Cee — Dan Antion, Marsha Ingrao, and Deb Waters (Any Which Way Challenge) for this November 7th prompt, Remembering Cee.

  1. That is a vibrant and striking thank-you card you made for ceec. One day, one photo. This is so beautiful.

You really captured the Aiko Intense Rose Azalea in such an enchanting light. The pink feels rich and alive — it almost looks like it’s glowing from within. It’s one of those flowers that can just sit on a windowsill or a side table and immediately make a room feel more cared for, more loved — like Ceec.

Your photo brings out its personality — elegant, a little celebratory, but still calm. Just lovely work.

    1. I am happy to honor Cee.
So glad you enjoyed the photo. I love your insight that the vibrant color of the flower (and for me the leaves too) brings out a sparkling personality in these flowers. What a beautiful image of them brightening a whole room, just by their existence.
