I do not know if this counts as a building; but, this neighborhood grocery return cart station was in my archives.
This was early morning, the parking lot is usually quite busy by 8:00 a.m.
Do let me know in the comments.. if you spot the birds foraging
For Dan’s #CFFC (Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge) where this week’s invitation is narrow or wide buildings

Are these seagulls or pigeons?

Yes I see them birds
the foragers in parking lots.
The trolley parking station is a very cool idea.
sometimes we have to walk right back to the shopping centre to return our trolleys.
on the otherhand we have security guards who would gladly return the for a tip or more, so I guess the parking trolley stations would put them out of business.

What a great idea to support the security guards by tipping them to return the grocery cart. I am sure that idea would catch in here… awesome!
Yes well spotted those are Western Seagulls there are lots of them here. They are smart and/or opportunistic
foragers selecting the right moments and locations to find food.

Sorry for the late reply. I’m caught up in so much administrative issues that I’m desperately and urgently need to clear.
Yes I thought them to be seagulls.
Cunning birds indeed.
Yes it’s a great way to earn an extra penny, but these days one needs to be so careful

No worries about timing of replies. Feel free as you are able or as your schedule permits.
All the best with the urgent tasks/administrative matters.
Have a good one!

They are and they get quite feral when their chicks have hatched.
I am terrified of them.🙄

I have a computer with a big touch screen so the gulls are easy to see…My old phone does not do blogs well…not so much.

Yes, spot on, they are full. I know the cell phone is a decent tool but the viewing real estate is pretty small.
Blessings to you, Gary. Thank you.

I like that the carts have shelter. I’ve never seen that here–they are just left to the elements. Parking lots have many items to interest birds! (K)

Here the shelter is needed because the harsh winters are pretty tough on the metal materias and the wheels. Yes birds know where to find the best morsels. Have a good one Kerfe! Cheers.

Don’t start me on seagulls! There’s a pub garden here that has a sign saying they cannot be held responsible if gulls steal our food!

Oh no! They seem to be quite brave when it comes to “partaking” of laid out morsels.
