Soft-veiled forests within
the heart’s study gardens, soon
practice letting go
in daylight’s shortened mirror
and long nights’ gaze as snow falls
In response to Lisa this week’s #TankaTuesday host’s challenge to write a syllabic poem with at least three words from her provided list: I chose: the, soon, study, and garden
This is a beautiful poem Suzette

Indeed the study within at its own pace in and with the spirit as guide and counsel. Amen.

Such a beautiful description of the shortening daylight. Something that is usually spoken of in negative terms. π
