That bird caught my eye. I was not sure what kind it was, I imagined it was a macaw. The magic of the moment seemed to lend it self to the mood in the poem. Thank you for noting.

LOL!! I don’t know at all. I was just guessing and imagined that it would a bright tropical bird of some sort. Macaw came to mind.

But I think you spoton it leans more to Macaw in that old traditional setting. In any case they are family of the parrots.
