**”sky mirror'” is an unuual water pooling on a beach where the water creates a parabolic mirror reflecting the sky while projecting downward incredible mirror images of objects or persons standing in the water.
“Sailing stones” are stones particularly in desert regions that roll along in almost a straight line for great distances, seemingly without the aid of wind or any natural forces.
Both scientific puzzles, the details of which nature has kept silent.

Oh I have to look at the picture again to fully see what you are explaining to me.
Fascinating and most interesting tale behind the sailing stones.
Thank you for explaining these things to me.
Blessings too.

Ah yes yes, I see the sky reflected in the lake and the downward arc of the boat in particular.
Is this a collage of two images?

Ah yes, my attention was more on the haiku reflecting back to me.
I should have paid attention to the concepts of the sky mirror and sailing stones.

Ahhh, I love the movement and stillness of this write, disrupting the notion that they are separate, when in fact they are one. Gorgeous poem, Suzette! Cheers, and happy Sunday.
