  1. Ah, I’d love to make a post about the Job’s Tear Plant variety. So interesting what I found through a quick search.

๐Ÿ›The scientific name for Jobโ€™s Tears is Coix lacryma-jobi and itโ€™s also known as adlay and coix. Indigenous originally to South-East Asia, it came to Europe around Leonardoโ€™s lifetime and itโ€™s now grown worldwide either as a decorative plant in gardens, or cultivated for its grain.๐Ÿ›

Such an appropriate choice of haiku for this Sunday.
I love the lines that made it

The jewellery is also absolutely gorgeous. Most look like a string of pearls. So much symbolism within the haiku.
    Blessed Sunday Poet.

    1. That would make a fascinating post. So much to the Job’s tears plant and seeds; its uses and of course, its symbolism.

Thank you for the kind appreciation. I am deeply humbled.
Blessed Sunday back to you. Cheers.

  2. Brilliant! This lovely write reminds me that those things in life that are the most rewarding require toil, and even pain, along the way. Love this poem, Suzette. Happy coming week, my friend.
