Yesteryear’s seedlings
Budding blossoms
Overtaking fragrant memories
This year’s rose garden

This month Rebecca has challenged us to write a naani poem. It is an untitled poem of four lines without rhyme, and of twenty to twenty-five syllables. This month’s topic: something that has changed over time.

    Bearing in abundance
    Silently rambling
    Slowly replacing
    Vintage, new blooms,
    The Rose Garden is so beautiful

    Fragrant writing Poet, scented thoughts penned in a prolific naani
    Fully embracing the challenge, 🌸something has changed overtime🌸

  8. I love this poem that ties together nature and memories so vividly and succinctly. There is a fragrance to memories, I think, and they are seeds for many things too. Gorgeous poem, Suzette.
