  1. Oh in days gone by, these scales were found in just about every grocery, spice and candy&nut shop in town.

I love what you did with the weights
Turning them into the philosopher’s stone. Or is it the shelled nut, waiting to be cracked.

    Is it pecan nut time.
Nice to have a bowl by your side while you contemplate these/those times.

    A dream haiku
    You are a master πŸ™Œ

    1. Oh brilliant how you used the word “wait” where the meaning could also relate to the weighty subject.
The pecans/morsels of wisdom, turned perhaps, into silver or gold as weighed by the magical powers inherent in the philosopher’s stone.😊

      1. Lol, thank you, oh yes that could be, I wouldn’t know. Pecan nuts are quite light, but the interior of the nut is indeed fascinating, also how all four parts, or two are neatly cased in their own little room.
Silver or gold have I none, but indeed this I have to give you
A study into the fascinating brain of this NUT!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚πŸ€—

      2. Coming from you, it consoles me somewhat.
But it shouldn’t, although checking back on this tiny phone can be a tedious undertaking πŸ˜‚

  2. I delight in the reflective and foresighted nature of this write, Suzette. Reflecting upon the past, while philosophizing and creating the future. A glorious poem, my friend.
