With the rising oil and gas prices I’m glad for Spring and Summer’s warm respite in the North from the difficulty times facing all of us.
Indeed we need to tread carefully in the South with winter on our doorstep, navigate our way and move around the pylons on the soul’s winter journey.
Peace and love to all.

Sometimes winter just hangs on long after its welcome runs out. Love the poem! π

Yes, winter can, and does linger up here in the Northwest. I can relate. Thank you for your lovely comment, Richard. Cheers

I’m glad spring is starting, even though much of this month will probably be spring rain here.

Yes, there is epic rain in your region. I remember well, my umbrellas did not last very long when I lived there…but I love the cleansing vibe of downpours.
Blessings and much love to you Ashley Leia.
Happy Friday!

I like the play on words in the last line. Very artful.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed that line, Rebecca. I often channel my inner “linguist” in poems a fair bit….hahahaπ€£

I like the idea of souls markers as pylons because that imagery makes me think of electricity. And what is soulβs passage if not one of electricity?!
P.S. thanks for the βfollowββ

Yes! Electricity indeed.
And, you are most welcome for the follow. Cheers.

Thank you for noticing the internal alliteration and assonance (I was channeling my inner springs on this one). I really appreciate that David. Cheers.
