“Snow flurries began to fall and they swirled around people’s legs like house cats. It was magical, this snow globe world.” – Sarah Addison Allen

December arrives—
a winter flambeau
with an artic wick
escorting sub-zero’s
crystal chariot of snow

Thank you my friend. We are enjoying a second snowstorm with the aftermath sprinkled with -23 C temperatures. Our normal at this time here. It is like a sno globe outside.

Oh my my! -23 C is even hard to imagine for me our temps drop to -2 C at the most. Stay warm my friend

Ah yes, planning for Winter begins long in advance here in the Northwest, with a suitable wardrobe and all the trappings of warmth. Even my car is plugged in to keep the engine coolant warm,😊

Of falling snow
Haiku illuminating quote
Beautiful poetry
I remember those tiny
Childhood globes.
So fascinated were the snowy regions about this their season. They never seize creating, and shipping globes to enchant our world.

Yes, I love those sno globes! Warm memories under glass/plastic. How they charm the heart even in the Winter’s fortress.

Yes exactly, they were sold all over town even amongst street vendors and Christmas markets, charming us into the christmas wonderland, thinking we have a sense of Christmas now. These days i dont see them much around. They are gone, faraway, maybe stumble upon it at an Asian vendor or shop.

Yes, even though they are rare/ few and far between they have a place in the collective knowledge of many places. Fascinating!
