sweet walks to the sea
‘neath orange sherbet skies
memory ripples
far from those shores now
traffic’s hum the new waves

A very sweet poem of longing for home.

Yes! Oceans are where I grew up. Far from them now living in the Northwest’s beautiful inland vistas. No complaints though. But the occasional poem bubbles up…haha.

I spent summers at the ocean when I was little, so I know all about those bubble-up poems. π

Oh that is so wonderful to have the Sea as a close friend. The sound of waves is wonderful. Sadly, I do not live near Sea at this time. But, I can recall its beauty, vividly. Have a great day. Cheers
