Dreams – A Poem

Light and dark dreams in technicolor captions, playing

On fantasy checker boards with chess pieces.

Rooks and pawns in crystal clear shapes,

Ideals of youth oozing fuzzy logic into adulthood,

Drawing in Hope’s camera obscura, phantoms

Now fading into the grey crevices of the might-have-beens,

‘Til Dawn’s dew washes away sleep’s breath,

And all life together inhales, the collective Ohm of a new day.

  1. Deeply insightful, capturing the prevailing moods and attitudes, beliefs and philosophies, the ideologies, in our time, a melting pot and the waters are muddy, looking forward to the crystal clear vibration of the collective Ohm, coming in from losing our way….or not.

Magical interpretation of the image presented for the creative partner.

  2. I love the life game play you’ve written. The closing line …. a favorite…. And all life together inhales, the collective Ohm of a new day.
Not that that is the only one. Have a blessed day. 😊🙏🏼🌻
