Superheros – A short short story

I wonder if that squirrel in the tree knows that in this suit, I can fly? Leaping over woofs and fences in a single bound? My cape and ears become wings. My left paw the throttle, my right paw the brakes. My x-ray vision is good for finding treats I have hidden.

Suddenly, Joe the boxer is startled out of talking in his sleep by the familiar sound of his favorite kibbles being poured into his bowl, while The Justice League movie featuring Superman plays on the television in the living room.
