Collection Plate – A Poem

Erhu instrument – Photo by Clay Banks / Unsplash

Strumming the chords of eons

Mortality’s threaded string ties

Figure-eight knots/notes in infinity.

Hands gifting riches to the world;

Placing precious well-used coins

Talents, into life’s collection plate.

      1. Ah, thank Suzette, I love it do much when you critique my delicate lines. Honestly, it’s an amazing feeling, these lines mean the world to me.

        The internet is crawling. I think it took about 15 minutes for me to land here. We have loadshedding and it seems like the towers of our mobile service provider is experiencing down time as well.
        Have a lovely evening.
        It’s so very cold and rainy here.
