Twice a Year – A Poem

Saffron Crocus – blooms in fall – Image by Johan Puisais from Pixabay

The Earth

Loves Spring so much

That it hurries

From one hemisphere

To the other, every day

That it is Spring there

Collecting Spring blooms

To exchange for Fall’s harvest

In the other hemisphere.

So that hearts everywhere

Feel the joy of Spring

Twice every year.
