Bling – A Poem

What is that bling

Nature ‘pon yonder window, flings

Snow falling in the bosom of Spring

Thyself, ‘thou does protest too much’; to such a thing

Yet, a hardy mash of sonnets to mind it brings;

A Midsummer night tempest as Richard sings,

“A horse, a horse for a kingdom” says a king,

“And birds sat brooding in the snow,” poor things.

Remarks: Yes it is snowing outside right now, here in the Northwest.

  1. Oh I remember a spring like this quite intimately….how beautiful you describe…set in a captivating picture. These northern Robins are all too beautiful.

    Where is the bling….captured in Suzette’s poetry

    1. Yes, we have them often here. We were just enjoying lovely hints of Spring. Then….viola…Snow. Lovely how the seasons, provide such material to write about. I love it. Cheers.๐ŸŒฆ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒˆ
