Open Gate – A Poem

Photo by Tim Hüfner on Unsplash

Unscripted open gate

Its chiseled shadows illuminate:

Shaped pathways in the night; lit

By wicks; decisions made in the light,

Soldering anticipation’s spacious room,

With filigree spires from wrought iron dreams.
