Are dreams a sound from our own, or from a collective unconscious shofar.
Do we walk among the stars when gazing at the night sky from our cars.
Do we not admire those we have never met, save for their writings in ink.
Perhaps we traverse space and distance more often than we might think.
And, how does one hold fast to faith, the most distant of things.
Objects in this mortal mirror called life, may be closer than they appear.
Not because of the “mirror;” but, perhaps, because of who we are.
A brilliant poem Suzette

You had me at ‘shofar’ 😉
Seriously, though, a well-thought through piece!
And, how does one hold fast to faith, the most distant of things.
To this question I have no answer for myself 😦

Amazing how we doubt ourselves and the experiences we make, recurring, beautiful and sad, wonderful, unbelievable and magical
Still we doubt, or we want to stay on that plain for the next question unfolds….
Absolutely exquisite poetry….come a little closer…
I think you read my mind with that picture….
I just didn’t have the camera at hand….but I pictured it live….but my bird was orange and beige fluttering in midair.

Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, and we would do well to appreciate those lovely objects when we see them.

Thank you Jane. So happy you enjoyed it. Happy writing. Even when the storms of imagination’s muse seems quiet…the words of the poet thunders. (I have no idea why but the preceding sentence just flew into my mind to type it.) Cheers🌺🙏
