The fountains broke on the earth, one hundred and fifty days.
Then – a token given, a promise made, as the waters assuaged.
Clouds and earth given a promissory note;
A keepsake bracelet
With rainbow charms;
Dangling reminders of the new unbreakable covenant.
Lovely imagery

What a beautiful burst of lettered-light,
Capturing the seal between heaven and earth

wow. love that metaphor — a dangling bracelet. I have been reading Song of Solomon a bit, with God as a Lover. This poem is a delightful reminder that rainbows are a reminder of our Lover’s care for for us. The image of a charm bracelet is also quite intriguing mythically. Deep as yours always are, lovely and true. Shalom, Jane

Beautifully said Jane, [ God as love and lover…his care for us] You are correct in your discernment, as always on the scriptural premise of the words. So very glad it resonates. The Word – be a lamp to your feet and shine bright, your path, Jane.❤❤
