When uncertainty pours life’s shattered beaker
When normalcy, once was a friend; now a stranger
And comfort’s companion; unsweetened comfiture.
When building the temple of an expected future –
Like jackhammering Herculean rock to Poseidon –
Chisels invisible smoke into sculptures hidden.
But –
Blazing a new trail has never been, nor, ever is easy
Perhaps, all living are ordained sequestered volunteers,
Natural selection pioneers, to build, climb, new ladders
Out of an unimagined Eden.
I really like this Suzette.

Beautiful word illustration of the great trek, and conquering of frontiers through the splitting of tribes following their own thermal updraft into the unknown, travelling with uncertainty and only their internal compass to guide them as they visualize and sketch their plans for Eden. Sometimes these plans are sacred and a given.

Much food for thought in this poem. Normalcy’s having become a stranger is much on our minds at this moment in time.

Hi !
J’aime ton idée où l’on peut construire son Eden.
Certes, le chemin est long et tortueux avant d’y parvenir mais quelle joie lorsqur l’on y parvient enfin !!!
Merci pour ce poème porteur d’espoir !:)
