Font awaken – A Poem

Saffron Crocus – Image by Serpico from wikipedia C. C.

Cornucopia tomes and poems in helvetica saffron,

Shed petals as imagination’s paged fonts awaken.

Arial kernels like nutcrackers in conifer groves

Scale idea mangroves binding stories into folios.

Once tossed drafts; flotsam and jetsam genuflect

To unrelenting waves in Calliope’s handheld tablet;

Its keys, winged foliage exposing trunks of truth –

Allowing amber sap of the writer’s pen to take root.

  1. Glorious, I can’t even imagine the stance, the body language, the extension and the expanded mind the grip of the quill and the nodding of the head all that it takes to word such a beautiful piece of poetry.
    I salute you.

    1. Oh my goodness your beautiful grasp of imagery is delightfully refreshing. You know that the praise goes to God for all his fine gifts to us. You most certainly are blessed with oratory in pearled fashion. Thank you. It is a pure delight to read your comments…heart- warming. Blessings 😊
