Somewhere in the heart of September; it is Spring.
Fall leaves planted dignitaries, invisible emissaries
Of Spring’s march across earth’s axised hemisphere,
Where patchwork color roses bloom gardens there.
While we unfold gifted quilts of heirloom treasure,
Spring slips forget-me-nots to remind September –
Even before winter arrives in a distant hemisphere –
That, somewhere in the heart of September;
It is Spring there.
A lovely poem Suzette! The difference between seasons in both hemispheres is to often overlooked.

This is so beautiful, it evokes memories of yesteryear when life was simpler and seemed easier. When I frolicked among nature with joy and abandon.

Hi!
C’ est un magnifique poème : l’automne prépare le repos de la nature et pourtant, le renouveau, à travers ces feuilles qui tombent, se dessine déjà.

Oui! Bien dit Dunelinette. L’automne prépare la terre et … nous au changement. Amen.
