Window To The Sun – A Poem

Sunshine the heart’s safe torchlight aphrodisiac,

Jeweled open-armed starlight of majestic Magec,

Sausage tree flower nectar to living in its shelter,

Helios: healer, ruler, silent thunder without water.

Missed, when you with dark clouds consort keeps,

Hope when in the terrors by night insomnia weeps,

The land’s thirst calls from the throats of the deep;

Sending help through the warming winds, you bow

Granting access to rain; love’s pitchers in the clouds.
