Call and Response – A Poem

Sunset calls, the horizon responds with an amber umbrella,

Twilight calls, night improvises psalms in dark hues Selah!

Sunrise calls, Dawn choreographs virtual duwap a-Capella,

Birds call, reproducing their feather lines again and again.

Rhythm and blues, choir pews, seasons’ refrained creation,

Chorused melody in the Sahara songs of marsh hinterland,

Resounding in Scripture, Akashic Records and Upanishads.

  1. déjà vu….I love the photo. Periodically for a few years I lived very near a lake in southeast Lower Saxony, Germany, a favourite place at the time of my daughter, we daily visited to be close to the ducklings and watch them being in their element and it allowed me to check up on them, even through letters.

A seductive call and response of nature
Recorded in the most beautiful language

    1. I am so happy to hear that the photo brought you fond memories! Goslings are soooo cute. The definition of cuteness… to me anyways. Thank you for your kind words on the poem. Your lovely support is deeply appreciated. Happy Sunday. Peace.
