Dear fellow blogger friends,

Believing that by your craft you might inspire others on their own pilgrimages,

You sojourned in near and in far off lands, walking, hiking seeking images.

You write so that others with similar dreams might find quicker paths,

Your encounters speak well of you based on the testimony of your posts.

Often, at night you give up sleep refusing to enjoy slumber,

Regarding – of more refreshing value to your soul – your penned labor;

All the while not knowing if anyone would read or like your artistry.

You regale readers with books and stories of other realms and mystery,

Perhaps to lighten the unsettling burden of today’s unparalleled reality.

You offer readers a place of safety, constructing an edifice of words,

Whose architect is individual autonomy.

You birth passionate posts writing with compassionate penmanship:

On personal strife, bondage and hardship,

On abiding in faith, on the scriptural

On battles mental, physical, emotional,

On loss, and, sharing personal trials.

By your missives you open wide the doors of social citadels,

Refusing to relinquish the rod of truth leaning on your writing staff:

Acknowledging the plight of the silenced in eloquent paragraphs,

Giving voice to poetry; the heart’s embrace of beauty, love and sorrow.

And, together with the written word, photography, art, song and video,

Challenge yourselves to heed the morning muse of the writer’s reverie,

So that your truth radiates from the mountaintop into the valley’s canopy.

      1. Oh it was pure joy to search my own heart. Your compliments instill compliments, it is a long journey to find my voice, but even the ups and downs are beginning to give control to my voice. There are so many out there to help with the pitch so I’m really enjoying that side of the work.
