Story Telling – A Poem

Distant story telling voices recorded in ancient sand,

Formed stone tablets to strengthen memory’s strand.

Inscribed written stories the hieroglyphs of antiquity,

Of everyday life in pre-millennial times in perpetuity.

Now, ultra-modernity traces stories in silicone’s hand,

On ‘new’ tablets etched by the very same ancient sand.
