For He created us to have our being:

To flourish in it,

To exercise inner wisdom,

To find value in life’s ups and downs.

To live in sacred anticipation of every moment.

To revel in the beauty of every twig and thorn.

And, looking upward, gaze at the expanse as a reminder –

That we belong

To something and to someone,

Far greater than ourselves.
