Take some time

Take some time for self care,

You have been rushing everywhere.

Run the race slowly with grace,

Slow down your pace.

Rest is retreat to battle in another way.

Relaxing is being present in the beauty of your day,

As you admire the astonishing magic of life.

So take a break from self strife,

And walk bare foot among your dreams.

Taking time for self care may reveal-

that thing you wrestle-

may not be as complicated as it seems.
