This frail soul

The dream since childhood;

Live a life pleasing to the Father in heaven.

Live with a desire,

to not speak of faith

for many think, “religion” —

and turn away.

But to live according to the Word,

None can claim to accomplish

the goal, by any means.

But, alas any attempt to touch the divine,

no matter how feeble, and

no matter how ill-planned,

reaps a daily harvest of delight to this frail soul.
