Oh my gosh! I was flabbergasted beyond astonishment over the weekend when I saw some white fluffy pebbly stuff on one of the cars in the parking lot where I went shopping. I thought to myself -what is that!! I lost my mind for a minute -not only did I mentally pretend to forget what snow looked like, I was shrinking back from admitting the truth to myself. As I got on the roadway, there were more signs of these small “white pebbles” on the cars and on the road. A further gentle reminder that “winter is coming soon, near you”. I had no choice but to muster up the courage to fess up to the truth that, winter is arriving sooner than I planned! W-h-a-t happened to fall! πππ
“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence. Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance. Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence. Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.” β Yoko Ono
“Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day.” β Elizabeth Bowen

π Wanda and I had to chuckle as we walked along a still summery day here and thought about our days out west. Winter usually hit just around Halloween in Edmonton but this storm is early. Okatoks down to Waterton just getting dumped on is not fun. We pray people will stay safe and drive carefully now that winter has decided to pay a visit.
